Now, I realize how my eating disorder fucked up my mind.
This afternoon, one of my friends showed me a picture of her boyfriend’s sister, who is anorexic. She’s 5’6” and weighs 77 pounds. My friend was shocked and she kept repeating “OMG she’s so skinny, she needs medical help.”
And when I said, “Well, I saw girls thinner than her, she’s not that skinny.”, my friend looked at me like “you’re fucking insane”.
I don’t know anymore what “skinny”, “thin”, “normal” or “fat” mean. My eyes are completely distorted…
